RIBOXIN TAB 200mg-რიბოქსინი (50TABLET)

Riboxin (Inosine) is used in the complex treatment of ischemic heart disease, chronic coronary insufficiency, and post–myocardial infarction recovery. It also helps manage heart rhythm disorders caused by cardiac glycosides, as well as angina, myocarditis, myocardial dystrophy, and rheumatic heart disease. Riboxin is applied in liver conditions such as acute and chronic hepatitis and fatty liver degeneration, including those caused by alcohol or medications. It may also be used to prevent leukopenia caused by radiation exposure. The usual daily dose is 600–2400 mg taken orally before meals. Initial dosing is 600–800 mg (1 tablet 3–4 times daily), which can be increased to 2400 mg within 2–3 days if tolerated. Treatment lasts from 4 weeks to 1.5–3 months. For adolescents, 200–400 mg is given 3–4 times daily for 1–3 months. Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to inosine or any of the tablet components.
